Cops & Robbers ~ Real Party Feature!

Today's real party feature comes all the way from the USA and was submitted by the lovely Stephanie of Spaceships & Laserbeams.  Stephanie held this awesome 'Cops & Robbers' themed party for her little boy Sam's 4th Birthday.  The printables for this party are super cool and the made to match desserts look unreal!  There was also lots of fun themed party games and activities. Thank you so much Stephanie for letting us share your party x

Stephanie tells us all about the special day ...

My son, Sam, has been loving playing good guys/bad guys, so a Cops and Robbers themed birthday party was the way to celebrate his fourth birthday.

For decorations I used our Cops and Robbers printable collection and focused my efforts on a dessert table. The backdrop is an enlargement of our decorative paper and a cropped image from the thank you card. A double tiered birthday cake featured the policeman and robber together, but the rest of the display divided treats according to which side of the law you were on. Cop corn (popcorn) and vanilla cupcakes dressed with our police car wraps were freely offered along with donuts on a platter. Heist cakes (rice cakes) and chocolate cupcakes in the robber getaway cars were on the opposite side of the table. Locked metal boxes held another stack of donuts.

Samantha, from Evie and Mallow, perfectly captured the cop and robber images on really fun cake pops. The money bags on the cake are cake pops from her, too. She does great work!

The kids had fun posing in front of the suspects’ line-up. Don’t they look like tough, little characters?!  The kids played a “Handcuff Toss” game plus they had to “catch” the dozens of decal robbers I had cut out from our party medallions and hid around the yard.

The beverage station was covered in jailbird stripes (wrapping paper) and I used our water bottle wraps and straw decals to carry out the theme.

After a lot of swagger and pretend play, the kids went home with a stuffed animal police dog and a policeman’s kit that I made up: an ID badge, visor, moustache, aviator sunglasses, memo pad, lock and key set, magnifying glass and a flashlight. Boys also took home a police car and girls took home “evidence”…aka jewelry!
